Corrections Policy
BersehFoodCentre.com aims to keep information accurate and up to date. If we publish an error, outdated detail or misleading statement, we welcome corrections supported by reliable information.
Last updated: 22 September 2026Our Approach to Corrections
BersehFoodCentre.com publishes information about Berseh Food Centre, its stalls, history, Michelin recognition, opening status, renovation updates and the surrounding neighbourhood.
Some of this information can change frequently. We therefore treat corrections and updates as part of maintaining the website rather than as an exceptional event.
When a material factual error is identified and reasonably verified, we aim to correct it as soon as practical.
What We Correct
Stall Information
Incorrect stall names, unit numbers, operating status, opening hours, closures, relocations or other current stall details.
Historical Information
Incorrect dates, historical claims, names, places or descriptions where stronger evidence becomes available.
Michelin Recognition
Incorrect Michelin status, outdated guide information or confusion between Bib Gourmand, MICHELIN Guide selection and other distinctions.
Visitor Information
Incorrect address, MRT information, closure dates, renovation information or other practical visitor details.
Minor Changes
Not every edit requires a correction notice.
We may make minor changes without a separate notice, including:
- Spelling or grammar corrections
- Formatting changes
- Broken-link updates
- Image or layout improvements
- Minor wording changes that do not alter the meaning
- Routine updates to opening hours or other time-sensitive information
How to Submit a Correction
If you believe information on BersehFoodCentre.com is inaccurate, outdated or incomplete, please email us.
Identify the Page
Send us the page URL or page title where you found the information.
Explain the Issue
Tell us which statement or detail you believe is incorrect.
Provide the Correction
Tell us what you believe the correct information should be.
Include Evidence
Where possible, include a source, photograph, official notice or other supporting information.
Supporting Evidence
Corrections are easier to verify when supporting information is provided. Useful evidence may include:
- Government or official agency information
- Official stall or business information
- Current photographs or signage
- MICHELIN Guide listings
- Established news or heritage publications
- Historical documents or archival references
- Direct information from a relevant stallholder or party
We may ask for additional context if the submitted information cannot be reasonably verified from the material provided.
How We Review Corrections
Submitted corrections are reviewed based on the nature of the claim and the quality of available evidence.
Where appropriate, we may:
- Check the information against official or primary sources
- Compare multiple independent sources
- Review recent photographs or signage
- Check the current MICHELIN Guide or government listings
- Seek clarification from the person submitting the correction
- Leave information unchanged if the correction cannot be verified
A submitted correction does not automatically mean the website will be changed. We may retain the existing information if stronger evidence supports the published version.
How Corrections Appear on the Website
The way a correction is displayed depends on its significance.
Routine Update
Time-sensitive information such as hours, closure status or unit details may simply be updated to reflect the latest verified information.
Material Factual Correction
If a published statement was materially inaccurate, we may update the text and add a correction or update note where useful to readers.
Historical Revision
Historical information may be revised when new archival evidence or stronger sources become available.
Updated Verification Date
Pages containing changing information may show a new “last updated” or “last verified” date after review.
Disputed or Uncertain Information
Sometimes sources disagree, or available evidence does not allow a definitive conclusion.
In those cases, we may retain the uncertainty in the article, attribute competing claims to their sources or state that a detail could not be independently confirmed.
We prefer transparent uncertainty over presenting an unsupported claim as established fact.
Contributor Information
If you provide a useful correction, photograph, historical record or supporting source, we may ask whether you would like to be credited.
Attribution is not automatic. We will generally avoid publishing your contact details unless you specifically ask us to do so and it is appropriate.
Requests We May Decline
We may decline requests that:
- Are unsupported by evidence where verification is necessary
- Ask us to remove accurate information solely because it is inconvenient
- Contain abusive, threatening or clearly malicious material
- Attempt to manipulate editorial coverage for commercial advantage
- Request misleading or promotional wording instead of a factual correction
